Engineering: Aviation Maintenance (A.A.S.)
Aviation mechanics repair and perform scheduled maintenance on airplanes and helicopters. They inspect aircraft as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul aircraft engines and assemblies, such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Includes helicopter and aircraft engine specialists.
Assemble, fit, fasten, and install parts of airplanes, space vehicles, or missiles, such as tails, wings, fuselage, bulkheads, stabilizers, landing gear, rigging and control equipment, or heating and ventilating systems.
